By second hand books it doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t get readable or usable books, it will be as readable as the new book with the same content.

One example is for students second hand books will save them a lot of money, as buying new books on higher education can cost from £50 to £200 hence they can save a lot of money. You can get many other books not just educational books such as cook books if you are interested in cooking. Why Do People Read?

Local Book Company did a survey in 2009 asking people about reading books and newspapers. The simple question was why do people read books or newspapers? The question was posted online in various social media sites such as twitter, facebook, digg and reddit.

The result showed than 30% read books for entertainment. 20% to improve their general knowledge and English. 20% to know more facts. 15% said it relaxes their mind. 10% said for education. 5% said they do not get interrupted by commercials.
Some people learn it for pleasure and education some people for entertainment. For me it make my mental power strong and also relaxes my mind. What I mean is it helps me concentrate for a long period of time. Once you get into reading, it can get pretty addictive and you will end up buy lots of books. If you tend to buy a lot of books then I suggest you buy second hand books. It is easily readable and you also save a lot of money on it.

Reading has helped my language skills. It has helped me understand English and recognise words and their meanings. It has massively helped me in my spelling and grammar, hence I am getting some real good marks in my courseworks these days. Reading has given me more confidences and I feel I can have a conversation with anyone and everyone.

In my spare time I like to read romance books from which my girlfriend has been really impressed with me recently with the things I do for her. I am learning to cook at the moment, because I live alone and I cannot afford to order takeaway every night, so I have bought few cooking books to help me out with the dinner and lunch, my girlfriend will definitely be more impressed now.
So I suggest reading books to just anyone as it helps in various ways.
